"CHILDREN'S RIGHTS MUST BE RESPECTED DURING ARMED CONFLICTS. " DO YOU THINK THIS IS TRUE? IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?

Nowadays, children’s rights should always be respected because they are the future and if they aren’t well prepared, both for studies and for society, there is no hope that humans will continue developing. It’s true that in many countries, who have a lot of problems, children’s rights aren’t the most important thing. Personally, I think that children’s rights must be respected.

In the past, children’s rights weren’t very important, since many families didn’t have enough money and the children helped in every possible job. In this case, the children’s rights weren’t respected because a child doesn’t have the same abilities and capabilities than an adult. Also, there were wars, and the consequences were, and are, the ones who suffer.

 

Now a days, the rights of children are respected very much because people saw that children couldn’t continue like this, so they decided to change the rights. Now, you can’t work until 16, which is already more reasonable age. In the other side, you also have an obligatory education.

To conclude, I just wanted to say that luckily we have evolved because if we didn’t have children’s rights, I don’t know what we would do as a society.
